This Shipping, Delivery & payments Policy is part of our Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and should be read alongside our main Terms: https://themimosashop.net/terms-conditions.

 

Please carefully review our Shipping & Delivery Policy when purchasing our products. This policy will apply to any order you place with us.

 

PAYMENTS

We can take payments with cryptocurrencies, Revolut, TransferWise, SEPA bank transfer, and PayPal (with a 7% fee).

To pay with any of those methods, select “Manual Payment” on checkout and either wait for our email, or send us an email with the order number, saying how you wish to pay. We will reply with the appropriate payment instructions.


WHAT ARE MY SHIPPING & DELIVERY OPTIONS?

We ship with DHL to most of the world, except for the US, where we ship with USPS or FedEx.

When checking out, the available shipping option and costs will be displayed after you enter your shipping address.

For the US, we use a third-party logistics service to manage our inventory and they will be responsible for shipping your products.

All shipments are sent TRACKED and you will receive a tracking number as soon as your order is shipped.  You can track DHL shipments here,  you can track USPS shipments here, and FedEx shipments here.

DO YOU DELIVER INTERNATIONALLY?

We offer international shipping to most countries. Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to the following countries:

  • Australia
  • New Zealand
  • Germany
  • Finland
  • Norway
  • Belgium
  • Canada

DHL shipping costs are calculated at checkout after you enter your shipping address.

    Please note, we may be subject to various rules and restrictions in relation to some international deliveries and you may be subject to additional taxes and duties over which we have no control. If such cases apply, you are responsible for complying with the laws applicable to the country where you live and will be responsible for any such additional costs or taxes.

    ARE THERE OTHER SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS?

    • We do not ship powdered Mimosa hostilis root bark to the UK, we only ship shredded root bark.
    • We do not ship powdered and shredded Mimosa hostilis to the US, the only option for US customers is whole chips.
    • If your country does not show up on the countries list when checking out, it’s because we don’t ship to your country.
    • We do not ship orders on weekends or national holidays.
    • Import fees vary from country to country and are NOT included in our product prices. It is the buyer’s responsibility to check whether import fees are expected or not.
    • There will be NO REFUNDS for buyers who refuse to pay import fees on arrival.

     

    ORDER PROCESSING TIMES

    Orders are usually processed within 1 – 2 business days, but if we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments can be delayed by a few days.  If any significant delay is to be expected, we will contact you by e-mail or phone.

    We do not ship orders on weekends or national holidays.

     

    APPROXIMATE DELIVERY TIMES

    Delivery times vary according to destination and can be influenced by external factors such as flights availability, weather and overloaded customs. Please note that often a package goes through multiple countries before reaching its final destination, so there can be some delays.

    The table below shows estimated transit times under normal conditions to different regions:

    Europe (DHL) 4 – 10 Business days
    Eastern Europe (DHL) 5 – 12 Business days
    USA (USPS) 4 – 8 Business days
    Asia (DHL) 6 – 14 Business days
    Africa (DHL) 6 – 14 Business days

    WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ORDER IS DELAYED OR LOST?

    If delivery is delayed for any reason, we will let you know as soon as possible and will advise you of a revised estimated date for delivery.

    For EU and UK consumers: This does not affect your statutory rights. For more information, please refer to our Terms.

    In case your order gets lost or damaged in transit, you are entitled to a reshipment or a refund.

    If you receive your order with visible damage and/or powder leaking out, please take pictures of the box BEFORE and AFTER you open it and email it to us, so we can open a claim with the courier company.

    Orders lost in transit will be reshipped or refunded after 15 business days with no recorded movement on tracking, or with confirmation of loss from the courier company.

    IMPORT DUTIES AND TAXES

    Depending on what country you are based in and how large your order is, it’s possible that you’ll be charged import fees upon arrival. Most European countries will charge VAT. Import fees vary from country to country and are NOT included in our product prices. It is the buyer’s responsibility to check whether import fees are expected or not. There will be NO REFUNDS for buyers who refuse to pay import fees on arrival.     QUESTIONS ABOUT RETURNS?

    If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you can return the product to us for a refund.

    If you already used some of the product, we will refund you the equivalent of what you have returned to us.

    You need to return the product in the condition that you received it. If you return the root bark to us containing hair, dirt or any other impurities, you will not be entitled to a refund.

    Return shipping is at buyers’ expense, but reach out to us and we may be able to arrange a return address near to you to save on return shipping costs.
